The fund was initially called the General Fund. Thereafter, the fund was renamed as the Kamloops Community Fund. Some of its early donors included Michael Black, the Weyerhaeuser Foundation, and Dr. Stewart Burris.
Established to support projects in the Merritt Area.
Established to support Area Community Funds in the BCICF area: Barriere, Lillooet, Merritt, Chase, Ashcroft/Cache Creek, Clearwater and Kamloops.
Established to support charitable programs and projects in 70 Mile House and Area.
Established to support projects in the Logan Lake area.

How You Can Help
Your contribution, whether large or small, lives on in perpetuity to support the changing needs of your community. Your gift is placed in a fund of your choice, and annually, the interest earned is awarded to support student awards and charitable causes and projects.
