Recent Community Project Grants Funded in Our Communities with this Fund

In 2019, this Fund distributed a Community Project Grant to help with the Library Learning Commons at École South Sa-Hali in Kamloops.

In their own words, "This project has transformed the school library into an exciting place for reading, writing and learning collaboratively. A variety of moveable furniture and equipment make the space versatile, allowing for multiple configurations for a variety of school and community purposes.  This great space promotes a love of exploring, thinking, rethinking, innovating and creating, and encourages critical thinking while also helping students to develop their communication skills for working with others."

The monies from this grant supported shelving, photos of local vistas on the indoor windows and newer elements in the Makerspace portion of the library learning commons.
