The holiday season is just around the corner, and with it comes one of Kamloops’ most heartwarming traditions — the Christmas Cheer Campaign. Each year, the BC Interior Community Foundation’s (BCICF) Christmas Cheer Committee works alongside local charities to make the holidays brighter for families in need.
This year, we’re excited to open the door to two new charitable partners who will join our legacy recipient, the Y Women’s Emergency Shelter, in receiving support from the Christmas Cheer Fund. By expanding our circle of giving, we can spread kindness further and ensure more families across our community feel the true spirit of the season.

“Our legacy recipient, Y Women’s Emergency Shelter, has been at the heart of Christmas Cheer for many years. Alongside this ongoing support, we periodically welcome new charitable partners so more families in our community can feel the spirit of the season,” said Wenda Noonan, BCICF executive director.
