COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATION

Please complete the online application below to apply for funding.

Funding is provided in 6 key areas:
Arts & Culture • Children + Families • Youth + Education • Health + Welfare • Environment + Recreation • Seniors + Heritage. 

Before initiating your application, please gather the following information:

Contact Info

Registered charities will need their CRA number, registered name and contact information.
Organizations partnering with a charity or qualified donee will also need to include a partnership letter.

Quotes

Two quotes are required for any equipment or supplies purchases that are included in your budget. Please note that incomplete applications will not be evaluated.

If your organization is NOT a registered charity:

Further details are necessary if your organization, although not a charity itself, is entering into a partnership with one. You will be required to provide a partnership letter, along with the CRA number, registered name, and contact information for your partnering charity or qualified donee.

We recommend reading the CRA Policy: Using an intermediary to carry on a charity’s activities within Canada.
(Section 4.2 outlines the necessary information to include in your partnership letter.)

Application Deadlines:
Spring - April 1st, Fall - October 1st.

Reporting Deadlines:
Spring - March 15th, Fall - September 15th in the year following your successful granting application.

The office is open from 9am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday. Closed from 12:30 – 1pm for lunch.

Please be aware:
Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. Use the application checklist at the bottom of this form to ensure that all necessary components are completed and required documents are submitted.
Failure to submit a report from a previous successful granting application will result in disqualification from accessing future funding opportunities.

BCICF is only able to fund charities and Qualified Donees. Please fill in the information for the organization that holds this status.
Please note that your Charitable Registration Number is not a society number. If you're uncertain of your registered name or number, you can click here to locate it on the CRA website.

Past grant recipients: Have you submitted your previous project evaluation report? Your application may not be considered if a previous project evaluation report was not submitted.

If you are not a charity:

I understand that to apply for funding we must upload a written agreement with the above Registered Charity.
I have read "Using An Intermediary To Carry On A Charity's Activities Within Canada" on the CRA website and can attest that all of the information required is provided in our written agreement.
