Your contribution, large or small, lives on in perpetuity to support the changing needs of your community. Your contribution is placed in a fund of your choice and only the earnings of the funds is awarded to charitable causes and projects.
Donors are recognized and recorded in the BC Interior Community Foundation’s annual report, or they can remain anonymous if they so desire. A designated endowment fund must have a minimum capital of $5,000, which may be contributed over five years. The BC Interior Community Foundation is registered as a charity with Revenue Canada (#11897 7107 RR 0001) and, as such, issues official receipts for donations over $25.00 for income tax purposes. If you are donating less than $25.00, and require a tax receipt, please use Canada Helps to donate.
If you do not wish to donate online, we can also receive cheques at the office in person or via paper mail:
#2-219 Victoria Street
Kamloops, BC V0E 2P0
Office Hours – Tuesday thru Thursday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Please ensure all cheques are made out to “BC Interior Community Foundation”. The fund you are contributing to can be noted either in the memo space on the cheque or with an enclosed note. Please also include your phone number and email address so we can contact you should there be any issues with your donation.
If you want to donate via credit card, and do not wish to use Canada Helps or PayPal (note that PayPal does not require you to sign up in order to use your credit card), we are able to process your donation either over the phone or in person. Contact the Office: (250) 434-6995
