Originally established by Holly Eburne to provide scholarships for students who volunteered at the McQueen Lake Environmental Education Centre, this fund now supports students who:
- are involved in the community as a volunteer in outdoors, first aid, or sporting events
- pursuing further education in the fields of forestry, fisheries or resources science
- must be kind & respectful of others, modest, a great citizen/human being who is ‘under the radar’
Note that this award is not based solely on academic performance, but based more on the above three points.
. Applications are submitted to NorKam Secondary School.
This Fund may also support the Kamloops Wildlife Park if the earned interest exceeds the bursary amount awarded.
