The Kamloops Symphony Orchestra established the Bruce Dunn Fund in honor of Bruce Dunn to support the programs of the Kamloops Symphony Society. Bruce Dunn, who retired as the Music Director of the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra on May 17, 2017, after an illustrious 27-year tenure, played a pivotal role in significantly enhancing the quality of programming and performance. Under his leadership, the orchestra evolved into a respected and successful professional ensemble. In recognition of his unwavering dedication to orchestral music, music education, and the arts in the community, he was bestowed with the title of Music Director Emeritus of the Kamloops Symphony.
