A scholarship for a student within School District 73.
Mr. Cam Murray was a teacher in School District #73 with a very strong affinity to the outdoors and the environment. During his time in Kamloops he was great supporter of the McQueen Lake Environmental Education Centre.
Now retired and living in New Zealand, Cam still has education at heart. He wants, through the Murray Family Fund, to assist students from the BC Interior Community Foundation’s geographic area to further their education. Applicants pursuing studies which include: outdoor environmental issues, environmental education and/or natural resource management will be given preference.
