Ross Parkin, a long-standing board member and dedicated supporter of community philanthropy, established this fund to inspire others to create discretionary funds that contribute to the Community Impact Granting program. His vision was to create a flexible source of funding that could respond to emerging local needs and opportunities.

Currently, the Ross Parkin Community Impact Fund supports the Kamloops Hospice Association, helping ensure compassionate care and support for individuals and families during difficult times.
