A mother’s love. A lasting legacy. A brighter future for children and youth.

Ryan Weichel, better known to many as Ryan from Kamloops, established Ryan’s Mom’s Money (The Yvonne Weichel Memorial Fund) to honour the memory of his late mother, Yvonne, and continue her legacy of caring for children.

For much of Ryan’s childhood, Yvonne owned and operated a childcare centre from her family home. She dedicated her time to nurturing young minds, creating a welcoming environment where children could learn, play, grow, and feel supported.

Inspired by his mother’s love for children and her commitment to their well-being, Ryan wanted to create something meaningful in her memory. With a name that reflects his personality and a purpose close to his mother’s heart, Ryan’s Mom’s Money is a tribute to the woman who helped shape his life and touched the lives of so many young people.

Established at the BC Interior Community Foundation, the fund will support children and youth in the Kamloops area, helping provide opportunities for them to thrive, build confidence, and reach their potential.

Yvonne spent years investing her love and care in children. Now, through Ryan’s Mom’s Money, her legacy will continue to make a difference for generations to come.
