Vivian Hildebrand believed in the power of kindness, resilience, and helping others. Throughout her life, she demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making a difference, whether through the gift of music, volunteering her time, or generously supporting causes close to her heart.
In 2025, Vivian established the Vivian Hildebrand Honour Ranch Wellness Fund through the BC Interior Community Foundation to support the important work of Honour Ranch in Ashcroft, British Columbia.
Set on 160 acres of rolling hills overlooking the South Thompson River, Honour Ranch provides a peaceful setting for healing, education, and personal growth. Its programs support members of the Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans, Emergency Services Personnel, and their families who are facing operational stress injuries, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Vivian understood that life’s challenges could be met with determination, compassion, and the support of others. Her own life was a testament to that belief. Known for her joyful spirit and remarkable positivity, she faced adversity with strength and encouraged those around her to do the same.
Following Vivian’s passing on September 7, 2026, the fund continues as a lasting reflection of her generosity and belief in helping others find strength through difficult times.
Through the Vivian Hildebrand Honour Ranch Wellness Fund, her legacy of compassion will continue to support those who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting others.
