In loving memory of Alexis Wiltse, whose life was a testament to unwavering loyalty and boundless love, we are proud to announce the establishment of the Alexis Wiltse Memorial Award Fund at the BC Interior Community Foundation.
Alexis passed away doing what she loved most, enjoying the freedom of the open road on her beloved Harley Davidson FXR. Born in Kamloops, she touched the lives of everyone she crossed paths with. Her larger-than-life personality, unmatched sense of humor, and gift for creating a safe space for anyone, regardless of their path in life, were the essence of her spirit.
This heartfelt tribute is dedicated to supporting graduating students from Chase Secondary School. Each year, the fund will provide an award of up to $500 to a deserving student who has exhibited resilience in overcoming barriers to complete their secondary school education.
The creation of this award not only commemorates Alexis’ remarkable legacy but also serves as a beacon of encouragement for students facing challenges. It embodies the spirit of perseverance and determination that Alexis herself exemplified throughout her life.
Let’s unite in uplifting and supporting students in our community, ensuring Alexis’ legacy thrives for generations.
