This week, fundholders Rae Nixon, Colin Noble, and North Shore Business Improvement executive director Jeremy Heighton joined forces with our executive director, Wenda Noonan to present a generous $3,000 cheque to the Brocklehurst Middle School jazz band. The band is now one step closer to attending MusicFest Canada in Toronto this May, a prestigious national competition for outstanding bands.

The funds will help cover various expenses associated with the trip, allowing the talented students to showcase their skills on a national stage.

Even with this contribution, the band has $10,000 to raise before May. If you may would like to support this worthy initiative, reach out to Brock music teacher, Jarrett Schill or parent liaison Jacquelyn Curtis at (250) 376-1232. Your help could make all the difference!
