Honouring the Life and Legacy of Allan Brian Harrison
February 5, 1953 – September 9, 2026
The Harrison Family Legacy Fund was established in loving memory of Allan Harrison, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, businessman, coach, and mentor whose generosity, determination, and commitment to family and community touched countless lives.

Born and raised in Pritchard, BC, Allan developed a strong work ethic and a love of sports at an early age. A gifted athlete and natural leader, he went on to captain his high school football, basketball, and rugby teams. His passion for sports continued throughout his life, particularly through coaching and mentoring young athletes, including his two sons, Reeve and Justin. Allan believed in the value of teamwork, perseverance, and giving young people the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Alongside his wife Jean, Allan built Harrison Industrial into a respected business, earning a reputation for integrity, hard work, and dedication. Yet, despite his professional accomplishments, his greatest pride was always his family and the relationships he built throughout his life.
To honour Allan’s memory and the values he lived by, his family established the Harrison Family Legacy Fund at BC Interior Community Foundation. The Fund will help improve the lives of children and youth by reducing financial barriers and supporting charitable initiatives that advance education, health, well-being, and personal development.
Through this permanent endowment, Allan’s legacy of generosity, mentorship, and community spirit will continue to create opportunities for young people for generations to come.
A life dedicated to helping others succeed. A legacy that will continue to open doors for children and youth.
