Community Project Grant – Portable X-Ray for the BC Wildlife Park

BCICF Executive Director Rob Miller was thrilled to visit the BC Wildlife Park & present them with their Community Project Grant Funding to assist in the purchase of a portable x-ray machine for their animal rehabilitation centre. We hope this helps make a difference for all the wildlife in their care! Funding for this grant came from the Carolyn Scarborough Memorial Fund.
Supporting Women & Youth in Our Communities
During December, BCICF Executive Director Rob Miller visited Cassandra Schwarz, Executive Director of Kamloops Elizabeth Fry Society and presented their organization with bridge funding for their Women’s Housing, Courtwork Program & Housing Resources Program from The Stollery Charitable Foundation Fund held at the BC Interior Community Foundation. Thank you to Elizabeth Fry Society for your wonderful work in our communities!
Boys and Girls Club Endowment Fund
Big Thanks to Traci Anderson of the Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops for dropping off their generous donation to the Boys and Girls Club Endowment Fund held at the BC Interior Community Foundation. Continuing support of their endowed fund helps them build great opportunities for the future of children in our community.
Visiting Kamloops Brain Injury Association
BCICF Executive Director Rob Miller visited Kamloops Brain Injury Association to give them their 2018 Interest Distribution of $35,336.53 last week. Big Thanks to KBIA for supporting our community with excellent programs and services!
