Marty Koslowski, in collaboration with Kirsten McDougall, a friend and board member, established the fund in memory of his wife, Carolyn Scarborough. The fund’s purpose is to provide support for charitable projects and programs in Kamloops and the surrounding area.

About Scarborough:

Born in Nelson, BC on Feb 10, 1953, Carolyn grew up in Victoria, and moved to Kamloops in 1976. She was a Trust Officer for many years with National Trust and then Scotiabank, retiring in 2001.

Carolyn was an enthusiastic outdoor athlete who enjoyed cross country skiing at the Stake Lake Ski Club. Moreover, she was into biking, sailing, mushroom hunting, hiking, dancing, and boating. In addition to that, Carolyn was activity involved in the community, volunteering with Kamloops Foundation and generously supporting other charities and organizations.

Carolyn leaves behind the love of her life for 34 years, Marty Koslowski, her mother Helen, brother Joe (Sue), nephew Michael, niece Lindsay, and many other relatives.
