As you know, BC Interior Community Foundation has taken on the mantle of leading the Kamloops Christmas Cheer campaign this year, actively engaging with the community and spreading awareness. We wanted to share a memorable highlight that occurred at the recent Downtown Winter Festival.
Little Jake approached his parents with a touching request; he asked to donate his allowance. Witnessing this budding philanthropist’s contribution was a heartwarming experience for all of us, underscoring the profound impact of generosity, regardless of its size.
As we find ourselves immersed in the holiday spirit, I extend an invitation to you to once again be a part of this heartwarming initiative. Your past support has played a crucial role in making a difference, and we believe that with your continued generosity, we can bring joy and support to the Y Women’s Emergency Shelter, the Royal Canadian Legion, BGC Kamloops (Boys and Girls Club) Journey Fund and the Overlander Residential Care Auxiliary.
