The BC Interior Community Foundation warmly invites all charities to apply to the Spring intake of our community granting program. As stewards of philanthropy in our region, we are dedicated to fostering positive change and enhancing the well-being of our communities.

Whether your project focuses on education, healthcare, the environment, or any other area vital to community development, we encourage you to submit your application.

“Our Community Granting program supports a wide array of impactful projects and programs, which greatly enhance the well-being of communities in the Thompson, Nicola and South Thompson region,” states Wenda Noonan, Executive Director of BC Interior Community Foundation. Noonan continues, “Last year’s grant recipients encompass a wide spectrum of initiatives, and we firmly believe that these contributions will have a lasting positive impact.”

In 2023 the BC Interior Community Foundation made a significant impact, with over $74,000.00 awarded to thirty-one organization to assist with their projects in their communities.

In the Fall of 2023 Science World had an excellent week visiting schools throughout School District 73, thanks in part to support from the BC Interior Community Foundation they were able to visit 9 elementary schools, giving performances to 2,315 students, 107 teachers, and a few curious community members.

Applications must be received on or before Monday April 1, 2024.  The granting guidelines and online application can be found at www.bcicf.ca under the Granting tab.

The Foundation extends its gratitude to all the organizations that submitted grant applications. The Foundation also commends the dedication and hard work of the grants committee in evaluating and selecting the projects that will receive funding this year.
